Carrie Paquette

Carrie has been a passionate artist based in Barrie, Ontario, for the past 35 years. Growing up in a musical family, she developed a deep appreciation for artistic expression and ultimately discovered her calling in painting. Her work transcends mere brushstrokes, aiming to connect with audiences on a deeper emotional level. Carrie has sold her art locally, online across Canada and the United States. Her work has been exhibited at the Barrie City Hall Rotunda and the First Floor Gallery. As well as in cafes and surrounding galleries. In the past five years, Carrie has shifted from acrylic to oil paints, captivated by their rich texture and the creative possibilities. She enjoys changing her subject, between landscapes, wildlife, and semi-abstract skies. A graduate of Barrie Georgian College's Design Art/Graphic Design program, where she earned honours. She continues to explore new dimensions in her art, inviting viewers to experience more than just a painting.
